Boston Dance has appreciated our families patience and support as we coordinate our reopening. We understand you are wondering about next season: what will it look like, when will the new schedule be available and when will registration begin? The 20/21 dance season will look a bit different. However, we want to ensure everyone is aware the Boston Dance admin team has been working diligently, in alignment with our facility operators Dance Victoria, to develop new student safety protocols based on Island Health and Worksafe BC guidelines to ensure dancers have a safe place in which to train.
Boston Dance is committed to providing a safe space for our families and faculty and that includes new limits on class size, physical distancing within studio space, increased disinfecting protocols etc.. These will be communicated to all families prior to fall registration.
As there will be some changes in policies and protocols from last season, families will be emailed PDF copies of new documentation prior to registration. This will include: a Covid-19 waiver, standard liability waiver, payments and policies information as well as current safety protocols and details on how to register. We want to ensure families have time to read through this information prior to registering for classes.
Online enrollment will continue to be based on a first come first serve basis by dancer pre approvals only.
The studio Administrative Team is all well and healthy and are practicing social distancing until further notice, working from home when possible. For this reason, we will not be holding IN- PERSON drop in office hours during the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic. If you would like to book an in-person appointment to visit our office please email us (info@bostondanceco.com) and we will be happy to assist you.
Rest assured we will be monitoring our emails and phone messages as normal without interruption until further notice.
Our commitment to the health and safety of our dancers, families and staff is our top priority and as such this protocol will remain in effect until the COVID-19 pandemic is no longer a threat to our communities.
We appreciate your understanding during these challenging times.
